SelfLove365, Year 2, Day 250: Taking it Easy

Watch movie with popcorn and M&Ms, eat mindlessly, leave the dishes, ignore the emails, pretend the house can clean itself.

Whipped cream and fruit for breakfast, sex until 11am, home at 2am, nap in the middle of the day, listen to you read a book out loud.

Taking it easy is necessary for my mental health, whether it’s ten minutes in a day, an entire weekend to allow for recovery and integration of a challenging experience in my life, or a week on a beach once a year to soak in the sun.
